“20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.I have had 4 babies and when I thought about verse 21 I realized how true that was. My oldest is 6 and my youngest is 1 but I couldn’t tell you much about any one of my labors. Little bits but not a whole lot! Praise the Lord for that. My ‘sorrow’ was turned to joy as soon as that precious little baby was placed in my arms! God uses this amazing moment in a mother’s life to show us what it will be like when we see Him again! We may have problems now – sickness, money trouble, family problems and others – but my Lord Jesus Christ says my ‘sorrow shall be turned to into joy’. SHALL BE… not may be, there is no question that some day when I stand before my Lord, He will take my sorrows away forever! Praise the Lord that He sent His son to the cross for ME!! He rose again with victory over death and to offer me a life forever with him all I had to do was believe on His name (John 3:16) “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that WHOSOEVER believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Because of this I KNOW that I will see him one day and He will turn my sorrow into joy!!
21. A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the woman.
22. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.”
